Oak Wood Cabinets

A desirable quality by most homeowners is their distinct grain patterns including random wormholes, fine lines, leafy grains, and watery figures. Ranges in color from white to reddish tones. Streaks of green, yellow, and black may appear due to mineral deposits

Maple Wood Cabinets

Popular in the kitchen and bathroom. Most are white to creamy-white color, with occasional reddish-brown tones. Grain pattern creates a smooth and even appearance. Grain markings include fine brown lines, wavy or curly graining, and small black dots.

Walnut Wood Cabinets

Smooth, fine, and generally straight wood grain. Colors range from deep chocolate to light reddish-gray brown. Creates a beautiful look for home interiors as the color mellows and lightens with age

Hickory Wood Cabinets

Colors range from blonde and white to reddish-brown and dark brown. The heartwood and sapwood within the hickory creates a naturally contrasting appearance, the perfect appeal for many kitchen designs

Alder (Select) Wood Cabinets

We recommend this product for natural to dark stains. Natural consistency and beautiful color can give it the visual appearance of Cherry, Maple or Birch. Alder dries to an even honey tone and can be finished to resemble more expensive fine-grained species, such as Cherry. There is little color variation between the heartwood and sapwood, making alder also ideal for light or natural finishes. There can be small amounts of mineral in the machined areas.

Alder (Rustic) Wood Cabinets

Color variations may range from light tan to reddish brown. There will be a wide range of rustic characteristics, mineral, random knots and cluster knots. No loose or see thru knots. All knots are glued in. Knots can vary from small to large. Frames with molded detail may have no knots. Color variation will occur. Mineral streaks are acceptable. (Rustic Alder is available in plywood).

Birch (Natural) Wood Cabinets

Medium density hardwood with a fine, moderate grain pattern. The most prevalent sapwood color is white to creamy yellow, while the heartwood varies from medium/dark reddish brown. When Natural Birch is stained it will have a blotchy appearance, this appears randomly and is more prevalent with some stains.

Birch (Red) Wood Cabinets

This product will be uniform in color and grain and will have a reddish tan color. There may be very small amounts of mineral in the machined areas. Material will naturally darken, sometimes drastically, when exposed to sun and natural light. This may be enhanced with light and clear finishes and is not considered a defect. We recommend this product for natural to dark stains.

Cherry (Natural) Wood Cabinets

Fine grain and smooth texture. Light brown to dark red heartwood, white to cream sapwood. Expect some heart and sap together on the face and back. Pitch pockets and small tight knots are acceptable. We recommend this product be used for medium to dark stains only. (Natural Cherry is available in plywood).

Cherry (Select) Wood Cabinets

Rich, deep reddish brown color and exceptional character. Its interesting grain and smooth texture give it extraordinary finishing qualities. There can be small amounts of sap and pitch in the machined areas. Material will naturally darken, sometimes drastically, when exposed to sun and natural light. This may be enhanced with light and clear finishes and is not considered a defect. Doors may need to be resanded in order to accept dark finishes.
